Privacy Policy for Little Golem

This page summarizes how Little Golem uses account and game data to run the service.

Account data

Registration requires a login name and an email address. The account also has a password used for login and account recovery.

The profile page can contain optional information such as real name, public email, country, profile text and profile picture. Optional profile fields are visible to other players when they are shown on public player pages. The regular account email is used by Little Golem for account and move notifications and is not shown as the public email unless the player fills a public email field.

Game and community data

Little Golem stores game records, tournament results, ratings, ranks, forum posts, messages, historical invitation records and other actions needed to operate the site.

Players should not send highly sensitive information through game chat, private messages or forum posts. These features are intended for game and site communication.

Email

Email addresses are used for account access, password reset, move notifications and other service-related notifications. Players can disable move notifications in their profile settings.

Little Golem does not sell player email addresses.

Cookies and logs

Little Golem uses cookies and sessions to keep users logged in and to operate the website. Server logs may include technical information such as IP address, browser information, requested pages and request time. These logs are used for operation, troubleshooting and abuse prevention.

Third-party services

Some pages may link to external websites. When a player follows an external link, the privacy policy of that external site applies.
